Ooooh -- tulips for Christmas! How beautiful and extravagant! (GOOD for you!) Great painting of them, and the Paris drawings are fantastic. I don't know how you work in such a small sketchbook, though.

Thank you!

I have developed my rebinding scheme over time, by trial and error. The bookblock itself is coptic-bound (sewn). I am writing up the instructions on how I do this project and will post them soon.

Very nice work. And I mean all your work. You're quite prolific and skilled, for sure. Wonderful drawings and colors. They gladden the heart!
I've been painting watercolors for years but in the past few years have pushed myself to draw and sketch outdoors. And have discovered the joy of journaling. And my greatest fun now is the sketching outdoors. Now I have to push myself to do studio work!
Recently joined EDM too.
Would you, when you have the time, drop me a few lines about where exactly you learned to bind your journal. I am thinking that you use a sewn binding. Maybe too which paper you prefer (Arches, Fabriano?).
Tnx

This is lovely! What a wonderful present to yourself, and one which, by drawing it, will last forever.
