I agree with Susan (who is a wonderful teacher herself!). Thanks for sharing the info about the class and for your great sketches. I also agree that classes do help you, even if it’s to help you find and focus more on what you’re really interested in doing.

I love your sketching style, so loose and spontaneous. Your colors are very calming and I just like looking at your sketches! When it warms up a bit here, a friend and I are going to try plein air sketching, too. I’m actually looking forward to it. Beautiful work! I’ll keep checking back to see more!

Did you ever consider teaching a sketchbooking workshop yourself? I think you’d be great. It’s also good though, the way you’ve stayed open to learning from others. I think that 90% of the learning is the contribution that the student makes to the endeavor.

I love your site. It is quite calming, inspiring and provocative at the same time. You’ve inspired me to get a group of artist friends and try plein air sketching this spring. Have you done this? If so, please share on your site.
