I love taking these little excursions with you via your blog. The first is my favorite...the blue sky captivated me. I'm in the planning stage of making a bookblock for a new leatherbound sketchbook I bought in Florence. The bookblock slips out so it can be replaced when full. I don't care for the one it came with...beautiful paper but not for watercolor. Your instructions for copic binding liberated me from store bought sketchbooks!!! These are great as always! My favorite this time around is "Lunch at MarketBar." An unusual composition: Rather than focusing on the city/building details, you thoughtfully spotlighted the umbrella, perhaps because it held the most meaning for you on the occasion (perhaps because that was where you enjoyed your marvelous lunch).
